Warriors & Armor Penetration Buffs
Hi, I had a few questions regarding the numbers for Warriors & armor penetration.
As I understand it, Warriors are unique in that the inherent Armor Penetration they get from Strength reduces enemies' effective AL below the soft floor cap of 60 AL, so that if I had 10 Str, I would be hitting the target as if it is a 50 AL target, instead of 60.
Now, I read on the wiki page for Judge's Insight, that the armor penetration from this skill stacks with Warrior arm. pen. So taking the 10 STR from before, does this mean then that the Warrior has 30 arm. pen?
I decided to go into the Nameless Isles and test it out. I hit on the Master of Damage both with and without Judge's Insight on me. Unfortunately, the damage per second & total damage done for 20 seconds of just autoattacking (no skills used) for both with and without, was nearly identical. I ran the test 3 times, but the difference was ~3-4 dps, and not consistently in favour of Judge's Insight.
I understand that mere observations over a 20 second interval are not by any means conclusive, but my question is that am I wrong in interpreting that it doesnt work as it should? Or it does & I just didnt observe accurately?
TL;DR: Judge's Insight + 10 Str on 60 AL target = 30 effective AL? If not, what then?

As I understand it, AP works as a percentage on attack skills and only on the non +dmg part of the damage from the skill. So if you hit an AL 60, you'd have 10% AP so you'd be hitting him like he had AL 54. Now if he had 120 AL, you'd get 10% off of that and be hitting him as if he had 108 AL.
Try doing it again with attack skills instead of auto attacking and see if there's any difference.
*puts testing AP on his list of things to do when he starts playing again.

First thing that you should be aware of is that you only get the armor penetration bonus when you use/ successfully land a hit with an attack skill. Auto-attacking won't give you any strength related AP bonuses whatsoever.
Second, like others have pointed out before, the armor penetration works with percentages. So 10 strength = 10% AP: 60/100*10=6 ... which means it reduces the targets armor to 54 not 50. Judge's Insight does stack with strength bonus (unlike other some other skills), but I am not sure if it calculates 10% and then the 20% or 30%. For the later that would mean, that while using an attack skill the target would get hit as if wearing an armor of 42.

Note that even though strength's AP only applies to attack skills, autoattacks still uses the Judge's Insight AP.
